Celine's last day in Paris and she wanted to grab lunch at a super hotspot in the Marais (where she's seen models and the famous).
Then, she wanted to do a pedicure/manicure thing. I have never done a pedicure/manicure thing. First, for the ethical reasons that these shops are horrendous on the Asian employees (why are they almost all Asian?). Second, I'm just not girlie enough for it. Third, I'm very aware that my feet are not my best feature - and they're ticklish.
When the Asian lady lifted up my foot from the tub to do some scrapey scrapey thing on the bottom, the 4 teen girls behind her cracked giggles and popped their eyes. One even leaned over to get a better look.
No, my feet are not clubbed. But yes, it's why I always wear sexy thigh-highs or cute knee-socks on dates.
For dinner, I went over to an international affair of all these kids from my grad program. And, who did I run into but the classical guitar player.
Ahhh, life.

Do away unto the man of the Lordeth
Lo, and the Gates of Hell opened and out spewth the man who quoteth the Lordeth on Lola's blog.
From strength to strength, Lola's fingers climbeth to the heights of Haloscan!
And from the depths, the angel of Haloscan harketh, "Cast out ye boring, bad, evil, and dumbass! For those who seek to rudely interjecteth their ignorant comments shall not be welcomed in the House of Lola! For it is not from the Lordeth that these evil-doers come. No, nay, nien, non, nyet. For it is frometh the Lordeth's lame brother Billy whence the idiot cometh. Thus, cast out this fly in the ointment and go on with yo' bad self, girl."
Lola asked of the angel "But how to rid these lands of this plague? For the dumb ass spews swarms of gnats and flies, devouring all fun and respect with the locusts from his ass."
The angel spoke unto Lola and said "Blogger comment moderation." For the angel knew that it was the Lordeth and Billy who mock the idiot commenter, and scourge him, and spit upon him from their barstools at Stonewall (on 53 Christopher Street, NYC, between West 4th and Waverly, near Gay Street).
Lola was humbled by the angel and took the angel's words as a commandment and she left tokens and gifts and not of the distasteful kind with which the Three Kings welcomed a baby in a barn one timeth.
And all the world sighed for this would be the new day! For what the Lordeth has joined together let no man teareth apart. For Lola and her blog will live freely and with the children who read the blog and up on the hills with the sheep and the sexy hot shepherds and totally fine maidens and there shall be no gratuitous or retarded comments echoed to disturb their fair frolics in the gardens of salacious Satan.
Get behind me Satan! And we shall starteth the Bunny Hop of Joy!

To Stephen Z
To Stephen Z
On Craigslist
Date: 2008-03-29, 12:06PM CET
Stephen you live in the 6th and you're a photographer. All I can say is that you're a ridiculous old asshole.

Hilarious! He's the guy I went on 1 date with. Went to his place as I replied to his CL ad about interest in practicing rope tying on a girl. He was cute but talked for like 3 hours about his ex - a typical yacky New Yorker. The next weekend we were going to hang out but it was the fashion week in Paris and he had to go drum up work. Texted me that he couldn't hang out and never heard from him again. It's the first in a while for me to be dumped. Nice to know I'm not alone in Paris!! Sweet.

Ten things
I'm not sure what it says about me that this is the first time I've been "tagged" to do a list of things about me or fill-in-the-blanks. Not that it says anything about my readership, but I guess I lay low and don't really have the multitudes pinging me for my own babble. I'm happy to do it, and actually it would help to have themes for writing sometimes. So, if you come across a list or fill-in, don't hesitate to send it over, red rover. Thanks to Darth Sardonic for de-virginizing me in this activity.
Although, this is really general and not what I was expecting.
Ten things about me:
(Is this ten things you don't already know about me? Ten things related to favorite activities?)
One: I over-think things way too often.
Two: I have what feels like a head cold right now but could be residue from possible strep that my sister thought she had and I thought I was getting while on our trip.
Three: When I look in the mirror I see a lot of fat, and am never happy.
Four: I initiated my first french kiss when I was in 3rd grade with Shane Wheeler.
Five: I am afraid of the dark, deep water, peering through windows into dark rooms, fucking it all up, not being perfectly imperfect.
Six: I have two birth marks.
Seven: From above, when closed, my cunnie looks like she's gently smiling.
Eight: I have a patch of 6 hairs on my lower right back - my dad has the same thing on his.
Nine: I have tubes in my ears from bad ear infections as a kid.
Ten: I really am super duper annoyed by complainers, especially if they're fat and lazy.
So, I'm supposed to tag 10 people who should do this. I don't even know if 10 people read my blog. But if I did think that, I'd tag: Clichemonster, Cookiebush if she was still around online, Highly Recommended Thing of the Moment because I'd like to see 10 videos/games/funnies/links as ways to secretly tell a bit about the blog authors, James of course, noman because he's cloaked in mystery, Graydancer, Dearest Daddy but he'd balk at such banality I'm sure, Ray cuz wouldn't we all like to know more?, and Andy just to shake things up.
